Does anyone know the feeling of typing a long email and hitting one button and erasing the whole thing? Yeah. I just did that. So in place of the long post I just wrote, let me sum up:
Me in Hyde Park
Our time here has been wonderful. The Lord is moving in our midst and it's very humbling. The six Houghton students I am travelling with added a seventh student to our travels today. Jared, a student from Amherst, MA walked around the city with us all day. This evening as we walked on a bridge across the Thames, he mentioned that he wanted to go to Morocco. He heard me mention earlier in the day that I had had an "incident" there (some of you are familiar with that incident) and he asked what that story was. I can never tell that story without stressing how clearly the hand of God carried me through on faith. So that's what I told him.
Jared told me this morning that he didn't know much about Christianity. It's my prayer that after the day of travelling with us, he has begun to realize the vibrant life that begins with Jesus. Pray for Jared. We will meet again tomorrow one last time for a few hours before we fly to Tanzania. Pray that the Lord guides that encounter. Pray that YHWH continues to go before us and with us and that we see God in every little coincidence.
Last night in London
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
