The past week seems to have been a whirlwind. This time last week, we were visiting our wonderful friend Jeff Brown in Cooperstown, eating Moroccan food, and zipping around on a 4-wheeler and motorcycle. Wednesday night we caught up with the family who we'll be working with in Tanzania, the Moyers, who were in Houghton last week. Thursday, we were with my parents in Pennsylvania and Katrina had her last wisdom teeth extricated from her mouth. Mike and Tegan Diercks visited over the weekend, and we said goodbye to my parents Monday in Houghton. Today we leave for Toronto (Katrina's first time in Canada) and the Habashy's home. Tomorrow evening we fly out of Toronto for Heathrow, and then on to Dar es Salaam by Friday morning. We will appreciate your prayers for travel mercies, and compassionate luggage staffers at the airport as we move. If you want to contact us from here on out, I'll be updating this blog, you can click on my link to Katrina's blog, and will have email at: paul.shaffner@gmail.com. If you want to write us, our address will be:

Blessings to all; we look forward to being in touch as we begin what the Lord has for us in this next chapter of life.

Love you Paul and Kat... I tried your cell last night but I imagine you are no longer a cell user. I'm thinking about you and hope that this transition is smooth.
