In Spring 2005 I was introduced to the unique yarns spun by an undiscovered singer-songwriter from Oregon named Mat Kearney. For me, his music was the soundtrack to part of my ultimate roadtrip, and will forever bring to mind the slick muddy roads snaking through fields of irridecent tea in the Mufindi Highlands of Tanzania.
Apparently now he's discovered.
Check him out @ matkearney.com

hmmm. I have to check that out. I am sure I can buy his cd at the local grocery store next to the guavas and lemon grass, or possibly in the souk next to the old arab swords, ivory from the south, gigantic brass teapots and old copies of the koran.
well Paul as I stumbled across this blog via tegans I realized I missed something. When did this blog start and why had I never seen it before. So, because I have little to do I just went back to the first post in 2005 and worked my way through to this one. I caught up. Cheers man, I miss you a lot. -Aaron
