Almost the 4th of July

Things I'm thankful for:

1. car insurance - to fix the large crack in my windshield from where the chair hit it.
2. air conditioning - because I can't function in 90 degree heat with 90% humidity every day!
3. host families - who take us into their homes and treat us like we're their own. (thanks Rabenold's and To's)
4. chill concerts - and ears to enjoy bands like Hootie, Better Than Ezra, Great Big Sea, Rufus Wainright, and Ben Folds.
5. church family - an openly loving and accepting community
6. friends - the ones I talk to regularly, and the ones that I only have the chance to catch up with once in a while.
7. Nyquil - for an ailing girlfriend.
8. my bro - who is starting to live his own life of faith, loving people in real ways. (live it up in NC this summer, Luke!)
9. buses - and a 20 minute commute from home to office!
10. Baja Fresh - great guacamole and chips
11. New Hampshire - defending the best state motto: "Live free or die!"
12. Katrina - being consistently committed to "us" (haha...wink, wink) and living only fifteen minutes away this summer!
13. loving parents - who are faithful to encourage and pray as I fledge.
