Houghton in Tanzania 2007

students_watch

A week ago we returned from picking up students in Dar es Salaam and visiting some points of interest along the way. They have been at Masumbo for a week now, and have been pretty busy (which means I have been as well). I just got a couple of photos uploaded to a new set on my flickr site. This year's students have come together well and are already quite cohesive as a group. We're looking forward to the coming months with them!

And to boot, our friend Noel arrived in Dar at the same time as the students, and we have been spending 2 weeks together with him here in Tanzania. Wow, what a crazy, small world!

Hey Paul!

Your parents gave my parents this web address, and here I am stalking you from thousands of miles away! I haven't talked to you in a few, well, years, but I'm happy for you and that you have accomplished so far. The pictures are beautiful! I'm sure you and Katrina are having the time of your lives!

Hey Paul! Long time no talk! This is Chris from Minnesota, you know, the one who stalks you at Hasty?!
Anyway, it has been a while since I talked to you to. Just seeing how things are. Are you still coming to Minnesota? Let me know if you are!
Tell Katrina hi! And that I only used one space after sentences. Boy is that hard!

Hey it's Becky (Kat's long-lost tentmate),
I was searching for you and your wife via internet and I found you!!! What is the best way to communicate with you two? I'm pretty retarded when it comes to blogs and i'm a baby at myspace, man, i'm old-fashioned.

Hey Paul. This is Erin Lineman (Horn). You know one of the Morocco crew. I found your blog when I was looking at stuff for a friend of mine in medical school. He is looking to take a trip there. I told him that I would try and find out a few things for him about how he might be able to get in contact with some doctors or clinics in the area of Iringa. I know that it is a stretch but might you be able to find out anything about hopsitals or clinics in the area that he might be able to work at? Or do you think Dr. Arenson or the Moyers would be able to? I have the Moyers' e-mail address, but I know how busy they are. Hope this makes sense. Great site and hope you are having a great time!

Erin (I guess I could e-mail you if you still have your houghton address?)
