Coffeehouse

I played one song tonight at a coffeehouse to raise funding for the Women's Volleyball trip to Nicaragua.

PaulAdjusted
Me and Dad's Gibson

The molasses cookies were amazing.
Nuts.
It just occured to me that I broke my Lent pledge not to snack.
And I was doing so well.
Time to pick myself up and dust myself off!

I wish i could have been there too, but I was at a Shane and Shane show across the street. (Not a very good concert by the way, and I do love Shane and Shane.)

I love the short statement: "time to pick myself up and dust myself off." That's what this whole race is like. So often we fall and then think we can't be redeemed. That's the beauty of grace, when we fall the Father is there to pick us up and dust us off and set us on the path again.

Such beauty in simple words!
