My Macro Project

This is my first project for my advanced imaging class at Houghton. We had to scan in small objects and stitch them together into an image. The original is high def and will blow up into an 11"x17" print.

I don't get it. It looks cool, but I think that if I actually understood what you were doing, I would appreciate the final product more...

That's pretty cool.

You've got a lot of money you can't spend right now, it seems.

I've got an Aussie $50 burning a hole in my pocket right now.

hey paul, that's really cool. did you scan the swiss army knife as well? i have done a similar thing, but with stamps, for a website a while back. nice work, shadows and all. i'd even be more impressed if you scanned the wooden background.. :)

After all the begging, I will oblige and explain a bit more. I started with a blank page, and scanned every piece in indivudually. I then assembled each bill, coin, the knife, the passport the piece of wood and everything, cut them all out individually, and then pasted them together with photoshop adding shadows, and lighting effects.
