Weekend of the Fourth

In spite of the rain and the shady campground (Inlet View Campground = sketchiness), our excursion to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands this weekend proved to be a roaring success, thanks to:

1. beautiful weather on Sunday
   (even though I got sunburnt)
2. Dave's sit-on-top kayak
   (killer for playing in the ocean waves)
3. soft-shell crab sandwiches
   (something I hadn't had in so long, I forgot how much I missed it!)
4. wonderful friends
   (who are relaxed enough to roll with things as they go)
